Save the planet!

There are many actions which everyone makes and contributes to the climate change. For instance, the air pollution made by cars because many people have their own way of transport such as car or motorbike. It is increasing the climate change because of the higher temperature of the planet. In addition, there are some energy problems related to electricity and petrol. Thus the fossil fuels are scarce and there are many and many cars which need them. 

On the other hand, the pollution is important, too. Therefore, everyone must know how to use the trash bins, for example, the bottle bank. We should be conscious of biodegradable materials that are thrown onto the ground. Like this, many people pollute all the year and it is a world-wide problem. There have suggested some environmental solutions but they have had unwanted results.

Young people are not concerned about these problems and they don’t take care of the world. But they must know that if we don’t look after the pollution and the climate change, we couldn’t live so long because human-beings will disappear.

To sum up, the whole world should embrace green politics which can help to reduce the pollution’s problems and the actions associated with the climate change. We must take this seriously or we will end the world’s life. 

Students' futures

   Nowadays there are some controversies about how to educate children. This starts at home where parents must show them a good behaviour. They should teach children how to be polite with people and to take care of it. But parents cannot teach maths or history, so here teachers appear. There are a variety of positions related to this profession, and in this case we are talking about infant teachers who work at the nursery school. They have an important role in the childhood of the students.

   After that, children need to be taught basic skills which they have to develop little by little. So they should be motivated to work hard and make a profit on studies. The problem comes when they grow up and do not like spending long hours at school or secondary school. Some of them do not understand that it is better to get an education before having nothing. And if students can have a higher education, they should not waste this opportunity.

   On the other hand, some students must be motivated to do a degree and not withdraw from a course. In that way, it will be easier to find employment when it is necessary. Education is probably a synonym of future because there are more possibilities to have a more comfortable way of life if you can do whatever you want. Maybe freedom is related to it, too. The sound knowledge makes people more intelligent and they think on their own. Sometimes it is important because we are tricked by the media or by our society.

   To sum up, a good education is work of parents and teachers. But students must look for their best futures so they have to work hard. Thus they do not believe whatever is said in this world, they should contrast the information and finally our society would be free.  

Christmas' presents

Every year many people have to think about Christmas' gifts. In my case, this month I have to buy loads of them; for instance, two of them are related to some secret santas and I will give others to my family due to our custom. And this one has made me feel stressed because I do not know which stores are better to look for these gifts. The problem is the time because Christmas' day is coming and I have no gifts yet. I need help!

Therefore, some human beings have no idea about which presents are more adecuated and they prefer waiting until the end of the month. So here we have a trouble that makes us spend a lot of money when the prices are higher and when the cheaper gifts have been sold before. 

On the contrary, the time of Christmas' presents is a good part of these holidays when you finally managed to get the perfect gifts for your friends and relatives. But the best moment takes place when you receive your presents and if you had luck, you would like them. 

Party of New Year's Eve

Every year many people have the same problem: the party of New Year’s Eve. This night requires a plan which starts having dinner with the family and friends, but afterwards, it is time to go to a party. This one includes the place, where the tickets are sometimes too expensive; the atmosphere, which is related to the comfort, and the return.

Firstly, it is important to know how much our budget is compounded. The price of the tickets is relevant because everyone must avoid the rip-off. If the price is so high, it is better to look for another place to stay. The problem is that the discos rise the prices when the day is closed so they take advantage of the people’s hurry. But many people sometimes think that the occasion merits itself. In my opinion, it is less important to have fun one night as a rich person than living poor the rest of the year.

On the other hand, the atmosphere can ruin this night so it should be the best. For instance, people need enough space to dance. In addition, the kind of music takes place in this section. It is favourite a disco where you can listen to different kinds of music such as pop, 80s, rock, jazz or metal. Thus everyone can dance as their style. It is easier if there is a cloakroom, too, where you can keep your coats safe.

In the end there is the worst part: the return. When it is time to come back home, there are some options which must be compared. The chance of the bus is a good idea because you do not have to worry about your car and the alcoholic controls. But many people prefer their own transport because they can go back whenever they want. This decision is related to how much drinks people take because the alcohol is dangerous.

Overall, New Year’s Eve is a long-awaited night and it needs to be plan. Moreover, the place is important to choose depending on the price of the tickets and the atmosphere that it will be there. The way of going back home is relevant because of the security and the comfort. Once this is planned, let’s enjoy the party!

Have a good trip!

Everybody likes travelling because it is a good way of relaxing. There are many places to visit alone and with friends or the family. But there are many important decisions about the trip, too. Perhaps the first concern is related to where we can get the information about the destination; then everyone should have an idea which includes the accommodation or the company; and finally, it is time to carry the plan out!

To begin with the information about the place that we would like to visit, people know that there are some ways to get it. For instance, it is easy to find webpages on the Internet where there are bets about complete trips. Consequently, there is rivalry between them and the prices are low. Whereas less people prefer the old way: books and travel agencies. In that case, books are boring and you have to spend more time reading, and the business of travel agencies is in danger because is more expensive. So the decision depends on every kind of people.

On the other hand, we have to think about the idea associated with the accommodation. There are many choices such as hotels, inns and campsites. But the decision will be together with the available budget for it, the food and the journey. In addition, all of these are related to the company. It is important to keep in mind children and elderly people who need special conditions. But also the reason of the trip is relevant as if it is a business or an anniversary. When everything is clear and the decision is taken, the plan will be start.

As I said, at the end we are ready to carry the plan out. Everyone needs a break time and they are looking forward to it all the year. So when the trip is planned and the suitcases are full of clothes, cameras, food and whatever is necessary, it is time to have fun! Every trip is an experience which should be enjoyed because it is a chance that not everybody has.

To sum up, the goal of a trip is to forget the routine and do something different. It requires lots of decisions which marked the experience like the place to leave the suitcases and sleep, the whole budget and with whom you travel. Therefore, this planning is the most important part of travelling because every detail depends on the good organization of that. So if you have already done it, you are free. Let’s go!

The purpose of education

Education should have many purposes in relation to how to learn more than the teacher’s lessons. Internet can be used for this suggestion though everybody must be careful with the false information. Also there must be a budget for education which can make it the best. In addition, tests must not be learnt by heart, it is better to understand all the information that is given to the future workers.

There are two kinds of education which are related to teach students how to learn in their own and about indoctrination. Both two processes inculcate ideas and attitudes that are needed to have a good future. The problem is that teachers give to students all the theory and they do not have to investigate. In that way, their skills are not developed enough, they have to control them. So the labour of a teacher is based on showing the vocational training which is associated with not depending on only the basic information.

On the other hand, technology has gained importance in education. It is a way of communication because a big amount of people can surf on the Internet. The wrong here is that the Internet is so deep. The method of searching is easy but the choices are many; in fact we can take the wrong direction and be lost. Everyone should contrast information and see different webpages. You can look for whatever you need but always taking care of what it is exactly true. Perhaps technology is helpful if we use it on the right way.

Another important topic related to education is investment. Governments should have a budget for it because the students’ future depends on what they learn. For instance, schools must have comfortable frameworks to make easily the concentration. Also the number of teachers is relevant. The education’s levels would be higher whether these purposes were done. Therefore, the development of education needs the investment which is one of the most noted concerns in the population.

In addition, the current education gives much importance to the results of exams. Students study by heart and after tests they tend to forget information. They do not try to understand the lessons because teachers tell them that the most important thing is being able to pass the exams. If teenagers explore more, they will remember everything. If practices were a higher percent of the final marks, students would learn more.

Overall, education should be a way of teaching students how to learn in their own. To get this, they can search on the Internet but they must avoid the wrong information. Also schools have to be in good conditions with public investment. And finally, students should not study by heart and then forget all the lessons. In the end, if a country has this kind of education, it can train the best students. 

Christmas, the best business?

   Christmas is a holiday which makes children happy because of the presents, and shop assistants when they sell lots of toys. But many people are against of that because it is just a business that put some parents in a compromise. So we can find some disadvantages about Christmas related to money, and some things that are repetitive like some films on TV. Although there are irreplaceable moments with the family and friends who make workers and students relaxed.

   First of all, it is better to think about the boring things and leave the best moments to the end. Parents have the worst problem with money because they have to spend a big part of their salary. And they do it because of the children’s happiness but this month is supported with troubles. In fact, we know that Christmas is the holiday that generates the highest number of sales. That is why in January there are discounts, everybody had spent a lot before. Another uncomfortable moment takes place in the shopping centre when you bump into a person you know but you do not support.

   Related to the worst part of Christmas we can talk about toys’ adverts on TV. This kind of advertising never disappear from the media, every watcher can find a new toy in summer. That is easy to understand: business. Also we can criticize TV on Christmas when we want to watch a film and every year there are not televised different ones.

   On the other hand, we love Christmas because it is an excuse to meet all our relatives in a familiar dinner. On Christmas' night there is funny moments when children give presents to their parents, which they have bought with their savings. Christmas maybe starts in December and the most enjoyable days take place at the end of the month when many people are in holidays. But there is an exception: the university students who have to study for their January-exams.

   Overall, Christmas is a holiday to stay with the family and friends. There are many things that we do not support about it like the expenses and the films on TV that everybody has seen before. Anyway, there are more advantages such as the pleasure of being all together, giving some presents and seeing your relatives’ smiles.  

The funfair

   Do you like going to a funfair? It’s a good way to have fun with your friends and relatives. There are huge ones which have almost twenty rides but there are normally in big cities. On the contrary, there are funfairs that have between five and ten rides. For instance, every summer there is one in my town for its fiestas. Although it normally has six or seven rides.

   In some of these the tickets are too expensive. This problem makes children annoyed when their budgets are so short. And if we think about it, the funfair’s future depends on children, though some adults really like it. And it reminds me one I went there with my cousins and suddenly one of them disappeared. I was jumping in the elastic beds when my mother told me what had happened. We were looking for my little cousin for thirty minutes. At the end, we founded him at the bump cars, and we have never gone back to a funfair without the parents of my cousins.

   Apart from that, I really like all kind of funfair. The music that we can hear there is actually for children but the adults sometimes become a child when they listen to “El corro de la patata”. It shows that everybody has a child inside. Although, there are more things which I love, for example, the cotton candies and some other sweets. Also there is something which makes the funfair more interesting: a bingo. The presenter shouts and many people are excited. But in my case, I have played it twice and I am not going to spend my money in it anymore because I have never won anything.

   To sum up, the funfair has advantages such as having children entertained for a long time, until they end with the money. On the other hand, there are some disadvantages like spending so much and the worst thing related to that place is based on getting our children lost. 

Introduction & Conclusion

INTRODUCTION 

     There are some people who do not know what to do when they end their studies at the secondary school. Fortunately, these students can find lots of options, for example, they can look for a job. In fact, there is another possibility that consists in studying something more specific. In that way, people should start a course of whatever they want but don't forget that also the univeristy exists. If students have the ordered requirements they can apply for singing up there. Although sometimes we do not know how to choose the best degree. Thus they can follow some steps that consists in writing the preferences, the advantages and the disadvantages, and finally, they have to compare them. 

CONCLUSION

     When you have to choose a degree, think about your likes and dislikes related to the possible studies. If you think that one of these has more advantages, maybe this is your perfect option. But you have to know what you would like to be at the end of your studies, too. When you have done these notes and your decision is clear, you only have to apply for this degree. Also this is the beginning of the search for your best job! 

My hero

       My mum is my most admired family member and I would like to be like her. I try to follow her footsteps because she has made my family united. She is the most responsible for the control of the house. Also she does the chores, the purchase and everything which is necessary for the home maintenance. For that reason, I should tell thanks her for making my family close-knit. For that reason, I can live in a stable home. 

        On the other hand, she has taught me the importance of not to fight with somebody, in particular, with my sister. I have grown up with her help and we have a close relation, she is my confidant. Moreover, when I am upset I like talking with her because she knows how to sort out them. Obviously, I take after her in lots of things; we have common preferences, for example, our favourite sport is volleyball and we love playing it with my family. In addition, both we wear glasses.

     Overall, I admire my mum because she is the most special person in my life. I would like to be like her as the hero that she is. I always feel safe when I know that she is cheerful and when she is not stressed due to the house's order. I love her.  

Love is in the air

The first time my father met my mother was many years ago. They were three years and it happened the first day of the school. They went to the same school because they lived closed but they had never met each other. Their story started when she was playing alone in the playground. He hasn’t made any friends yet so he went to play with her. Suddenly, she ran away and my father was scared because he didn’t know what it had happened. After a few minutes, she came to him while he was crying and she told him not to be sad. He looked at her hands and she was carrying some toys, awesome toys! From that day, they continued playing together. But it doesn’t end here.

They became best friends and they had a common group of schoolmates. After fifteen years, they fell in love and my father gave a present to my mother for her eighteen-birthday. It was a box in which there were some photos, a teddy and a letter. In the last one, my father expressed his feelings and at the bottom, he asked about go out with him. She accepted and they became engaged. It’s a nice story, I love it!

Is living with your friends a good idea?

    When you are going to study in a big city you have to leave your parents’ house, so what can you do? There are maybe three possible options: taking the bus every day, living in a flat with someone or staying in a youth residence. People use to say that a flat is the best way to enjoy the university life, but is it right?

    In my opinion, when you are in the same flat as your friends there appear some problems. At the beginning everybody is excited though when you know your flatmates well, you can discover that they are totally different from you. We always see their mistakes; obviously we won’t say what we forget to do. They don’t usually wash their pieces of cutlery and they leave all the lights on.

      Well, apart from that, you have fun with your flatmates, it’s an amazing experience! In addition, you can know your limits and what chores you do correctly. It helps you to learn how to live together with the less possible problems.

     Finally, it’s an important decision with who you want to live. When you find the answer, it’s a good idea to have a continuous clean shift because all of you should take part in the house chores. 

     To sup um, it’s a good idea to share a flat with your friends but always you have to respect the privacy of the rest. Remember that everyone wants their personal space and, of course, everybody has to participate cleaning. 

Studies or parties?

      It’s time to take a difficult decision: studies or parties, but at the same time that’s impossible. This is the biggest worry of an university student. In the cities, where there are the most important universities, there is normally a party day. In Murcia, a lot of students go out every Thursday’s night. They can find pubs, discos and after-hours everywhere. Anyway, young people spend their free time making plans for this amazing night. They would like to enjoy themselves.

    Although there is a moment in which students see the reality. While they are having fun, there are more and more homework to do. And some of them are aware of it. Their vision of the university life changes and they would decide not to go out one night. However, young people think that they are not taking advantage of their youth and they are convinced to go to a party again. And this forms a series that ends on studying every night. And as a result, students go out exclusively when they have finished all the exams. Well, this is the real life of the undergraduate people. 

Man on the edge

      For a long time, jumpers are known as people who want to finish their lives jumping from an edge of a high building. In that case, this man has some reasons why he wants to jump. One of these is about money. He is just fired and he can’t pay the maintenance. In addition, his wife will leave home because she loves another man. So they are going to get divorced. These two problems make him feel frustrated and he thinks about putting end at his life.

      And suddenly, when he is on the edge, a girl appears in the opposite building. She shows him that if he jumps, she'll do it, too. In that moment, he looks at her eyes and he turn around. Then, he run to the opposite building and when he arrives there, the girl tells him that she is his daughter. 

Do you prefer rock or classical music?

     

      

       There are some differences between rock and classical music. First of all, the rhythm in the first one is more quickly than in the classical music. In this last kind of music, the rhythm is very quiet. On the other hand, the singers’ clothing differed in the style. Rock singers normally wear dark clothes while classical singers usually wear light clothing. In addition, the rock fans aren’t the same as the classical music’s. Moreover, the classical concerts are different from the rock’s because the staging isn’t similar in these two cases. In one of them we can find a piano, a saxophone, a violin, some chairs and a microphone. Although in the other, there are drums, guitars and a multitude of bright lights. And finally, we can talk about the feelings. In a rock and roll show people feel living and rebel, though people who go to a classical concert feel relaxed and touched. In spite of these differences, both rock and classical music encourage us to dance. 

Sport, what's that?

     When you are a child your parents tell you not to touch this thing or that other, they would like to have a static child. And this is a big problem. Children need to run, to jump, to dance, to shout, to cry and to sleep, too. But this situation changes over time.

      When school starts, teachers make children do sport what for some of them it’s a trauma. There are a few of boys and girls who feel ridiculous, but they say nothing. In spite of this fact, there are some children who love, for example, football, tennis, badminton and swimming. And they play everywhere, even in the bathroom.

      On the other hand, time runs and the sport attitude gradually disappear. When you pass the barrier of 18 years, you have more responsibilities and less time. You would like to practise any sport, or maybe not. Anyway, we are in the period called gym’s time. It is based on spend time going to this place instead of jogging, walking, exercising in a park or cycling. Nowadays, people who go to a gym are modern because it’s the style.

       Apart from that, there is the last period in which people think that they can’t do sport and they are focussed on working and the housework. But they are wrong. In this case, people can use the sport to relax or spend time with their family.

       In sum up, the sports don’t belong to any period of the life. We should practise them since we are children and we have to try not to lose this good habit. 

Over and out!

      Do you like playing with a walkie-talkie? When I was a child I really liked this game. My best friend and I used to go to the countryside where we played with a stone which replaced the walkie-talkie. We imagined that we worked in a police office and we had to catch the thieves in a big city. For us it was very interesting because we mixed two games: ‘cops and robbers ‘and ‘hide-and-seek’. The first game was about running after someone and the second one consisted in being hidden. It was funny!

       But we dreamt of having a real walkie-talkie. Our houses were closed and we wanted to communicate with this instrument. We hadn’t any mobile phone so it was perfect for two children like us.  Every year we told to our parents but they have never bought one, we were sad.

      Now we are eighteen and our dream will come true. I’m going to give my friend a couple of walkie-talkies. She will be very happy. But it’s a secret, so…shh! 

Unconditional basic income

      The unconditional basic income can be a big problem. It's a basic salary which you receive if you are or not working. This can help people who haven't enough money and also the workers can have a bit more to spend. Well, that swiss decision could make people more lazy because they are earning money without having a job. In this case, the unemployed people don't want to do anything ant there will be always the same percentage of unemployment or more, too. Swiss goverment should think about it, it's a difficult resolution that can make worse the economy. It can create a crisis in that country, so the unconditional basic income isn't so good as we think. 

Giant's Causeway

       

     My favourite place to read a book is this one. It's called Gian's Causeway, in Uk. This place is particular because there isn't any noise, just you can hear the waves but it is a pretty sound. The beach is huge and nobody goes there, except me. I feel alone in that place, but it's very relaxing. I usually go there to read a book, I love books about the ocean. This place makes me feel very good. I can imagine the story of the book and I really like this feeling. It's amazing! On this beach I also can see birds, rocks and the moving of the water. When I'm sitting on this peaceful beach I don't think about the life's things: job, problems, bills...I feel very happy in my favourite place, I'm looking forward to coming back!

There are few people that leave a mark on your life

    This summer I have worked in my first job. It was interesting and I have learnt a lot. At the beginning I was very confused because I didn’t know anything, I needed help. And in that moment, a special person appeared in my life. She was my co-worker, my new friend. I met her the last days of July and we have been together two incredible months. She could help me because she was an experienced person and very patient with me. She taught me how to be organized and more polite. Thanks to her now I am more sociable and I’m not nervous when I have to take note of a table.

       I have many good memories of this summer, it was great! But this week my friend travels abroad and I won’t see her for a long time. I couldn’t forget my first co-worker. I will miss you!

Effort and glory!

       Are you proud of yourself? If the question were for me, I would say ‘yes’.  I have being studied since I was three and at the beginning it wasn’t an easy work. When I was at school, I was a lazy child and I didn’t do homework if nobody told me. I could pass this school year with the help of my mum. But straightaway, secondary school arrived and a new challenge was in my life. During this period, I learnt to be more responsible and independent. Although I wouldn’t have got it if my friends hadn’t been with me. Finally, I could finish high school with very good marks and I was very happy because of my effort. But I have already started university so I need more effort to get the glory. I’m not going to give up because I want to make my mum proud of me and I want to show her that I might not be here without her help.

Finding a voice

   This is my first year at university. I'm studying English, my favourite subject. I think these practices will be very interesting. I hope to write perfectly and to know a lot of English. I'm nervous because my level is B1 and I have to improve a lot, I'm going to work so much. I know that I have some mistakes, and I'm repetitive, but I think that at the end of the degree, it will change. 

    I'm excited with the blog because I have never created one, so it will be a new experience which I'm going to enjoy. I will try to write frequently because it will be a hard work and I want to be more creative. I really like writing, people say it's my best skill in this language, so I have to show it. 

     In conclusion, I'm very happy with my decision and I'm going to do the best. I hope to write perfectly and to know a lot of English. This is the beginning but I'm thinking in the future because I want to be an English teacher. I like teaching and this language is a good opportunity so, why not?

     

How to make friends in the university

    Today we are going to talk about how to make friends in the university. The first day is difficult because everybody is nervous. In spite of that, people should enjoy the presentation because this is an opportunity to look for common characteristics with the rest. After that, it’s a good idea to propose some activities to do like having a snack. When students have more confidence, they can do a class group in WhatsApp. Taking advantage of that, somebody can suggest a meeting before class starts. And it’s just the first days. At the end of the week, you can have a close friend! I have to recognise that this is my experience, like this I have made friends in the university. I'm proud of me because I'm more friendly and open. How do you make friends? Which is your strategy?

Hi! I have the honor to introduce my blog “the way is the goal”. I have made it because I’m studying English at Murcia’s university and I need this project for a subject. I will try to make it funny and interesting. At the beginning I have to say that the name is very significant for me because I have started a new period in my life and I have a goal. This goal is based on finishing the degree and being a teacher, this is my dream. And everyone should propose a goal which it's possible to get at the end of the way. So ready, steady…GO!
